The Magnetic Nature of Being Human

That’s magnetism — not the kind that sticks to your fridge, but the subtle energy field that every living being carries.
Your body isn’t just physical. It’s electric, it's magnetic, and it's luminous!
Every heartbeat, every thought/belief system, every emotion radiates energy — shaping how you feel, how you heal, and even what you attract or create.
Thank Goodness that science is catching up with what healers and mystics have always known...
We Are Magnetic Beings
That sounds crazy, right?
But just as our beautiful Mother Earth has an electromagnetic field, so do we!
* The heart produces the strongest measurable electromagnetic field in the body (per the HeartMath Institute).
* The hands emit electromagnetic energy detectable by sensitive instruments — and trained healers show unique frequency patterns when in healing states. (Sources cited in my video here).
* This energy field appears coherent, meaning the frequencies are harmonious, which correlates with elevated emotions (calm, joy, love, peace, freedom, wholeness) and physical healing.
* Hands-on healing and remote healing both influence enzymatic activity, cell signaling, and nervous system regulation in ways that static magnet devices can't.
Unlike magnets that produce a fixed field, the human energy field is dynamic and responsive — it listens, adapts, and communicates. The energy that flows through our hands during Reiki seems to “know” where to go, informing and guiding cells and systems back toward harmony.
The Intelligence of Love
What moves through the healer’s hands isn’t just energy — it’s awareness. It’s Love, given intention.
Reiki (Universal Life Force Energy/Love) reminds us that we’re not separate from Source. When we lay our hands with loving intention, we’re tuning into a living current that flows through all of creation.
As Jesus said, “The works that I do shall you do also, and greater works than these” (John 14:12).
These words remind us that Divine healing isn’t reserved for a chosen few — it’s the natural expression of Divine Love moving through human form.
Reiki is one way of saying yes to that flow.
Fine-Tune Your Own Magnetism
I encourage you, dear reader, to rub your hands together quickly for 30 seconds while generating a positive emotion (by thinking of something that makes you smile), then place your hands over your heart. Take a few deep breaths, and feel the energy radiating, flowing through your palms, your heart, and your entire chest cavity.
Just this small act begins to recalibrate your energy field.
How you feel generates your personal magnetic field around your body. This magnetic field is either coherent or incoherent based on your emotional state. Healing your thought systems, or belief systems, is one of the most important aspects of any healing journey.
You are always creating magnetism, so let's practice creating healthy magnetism — the more coherence, peace, and love we hold, the more we naturally attract health and harmony.
When you fine-tune your magnetism, you don’t have to “try” to attract balance, love, or opportunity — you become it. Reiki helps you remember this natural state of alignment.
